In my opinion, "Literature is a kind of intellectual light which like the light of the sun, may sometime enable us to see what we do not like" by Samuel Johnson means the "life is a kind of light of sun may sometime enable us to see what we do not like." I agree with this statement, it's true for me.
 I recently
read a book which title is Things Fall Apart by Achebe. It talks
about a strong man, Okonkwo, whose life is dominated by fear and anger
in Africa. It has remarkable economy
and subtle irony. The viewpoint of the
story is third person. It's a sad story to read.

 The
first reason is that Okonkwo's family is full of happiness. They
look like the light of sun. The second is at the situation of the time.
The white people have no sense by making all
black people slaves.

That is what I don't like, and don't want to see. I can't believe that happened to him. The third point is he wanted to violate with other group in Africa, and they almost escaped and he had to kill one of his friends. It's sad.
 I felt
so sad for Okonkwo. It's painful for me to read thending of the story.
Life isn't easy for everyone, but everyone has to be strong to survive
life.
